@ WooHoo: Actually, that was a legit botch. I read somewhere that the guy needed some serious medical treatment afterward…don’t remember where I read that, though…so that part COULD be crap…but as a lifelong wrestling fan…that was legit.
Also, why is it that when people post this clip no one ever seems to notice that this was a midget match?
Going into that dive with his face in that postion might not have mattered as much to a 6 foot man with longer arms. His shorter arms didn’t give him much leverage to push his head away from the mat. Plus the other guy’s short arms didn’t get him thrust very high either to give his feet any chance to flip over. He should be accustomed to tucking his chin and just roll when he’s thrown like that.
