The Bush administration would not let Obama use the Blair house for the two weeks before the inauguration saying that it was booked for one night during that time by an Australian dignitary. Apparently there is a discrepancy on whether it was “booked” or not. Interesting!

My bad. I opened my mouth before knowing the facts. They WILL move twice, to Blair house on the 15th then on to the white house the 20th. My error was assuming they would just stay in the hotel until the 20th.

Guard SGT: I swore an oath to protect and defend the Constitution. Even while Bush and his cronies were destroying my country from the inside I did not give up on the Constitution. If you’ve given up on it feel free to tuck your tail between your legs and head to Canada (if they’ll have you). I don’t think you will though because you know this is the best place in the world to live. You may not like the man in charge, but lucky for you, you still get to reap the benefits of his reversal of the Bush years.
