I know it looks like the shocker but it’s actually supposed to be like the pitch fork like the scum *ahem* the sun devils mascot. They couldn’t come up with a better way other than to mock the shocker.

I know that it looks like the shocker….but my sis-in-law’s christian school uses that as it’s symbol too-“W” for Warriors……so that’s a little shocking!
It means “W”.

If it were a “W”, wouldn’t you just hold up the first three fingers? Why hold the third one down. Three in a row looks more like a W.

It doesn’t look like the shocker… in the shocker you hold the fingers closer together. It looks like any of a myriad of gangsigns and sports signs and so on. But the shocker… nah.
