Over the past months I have posted funny pictures and jokes for you – who I thought shared the same sense of humor as I have.
Unfortunately this wasn’t the case and I seem to have offended quite a few people who have accused me of being sexist and shallow. If you were one of these people, please accept my humblest apologies.
From now on I will only post pictures with a cultural or educational content such as old monuments, nature and other interesting structures. Below you’ll see a picture of the Pont Neuf Bridge in Paris France.
For those of you who are interested, Pont Neuf is the oldest bridge in Paris and took 26 years to build. Construction began in 1578 and ended in 1604. ‘Le Pont Neuf’ is actually made of 2 independent bridges, one with seven arches and the other with five arches.
Bridge??? I had to stare at that pic for 20 minutes before I ever saw a bridge!
I just love architecture
If education were this interesting, there would be a lot more boys not dropping from High School!
Great post.
Five arches? SEVEN? I thought we were talking about just two here!
Jon,
I realize you’re really trying but I think that you to try harder.
In point of fact, a few more shots of this quality would go a very long way in making amens.
😉
I do beleive something in the picture took 26 years to grow up (or nearly) but it is certainly not the bridge, since it is not the pont neuf in the picture. Maybe a bridge in Toulouse. Nice photo anyway.
Bridge?
[insert tarzan yell here]
Made me laugh out loud. Good one.
Notice the way the curves are smooth and symmetrical. The design is suburb and looks as if it can handle plenty of traffic.
You were successful in making me want to go to France and look at bridges all day.
Why do you even care what narrow minded, non-intelligent, judgmental asses think of what you post ? Isn’t the point of having you’re own blog to post what YOU want, and not actually give two shits as to what anyone thinks?
I like your blog and your posts. I couldn’t care less about what other people think and neither should you.
Keep up the fine work Jonco !
More succinctly; F*#k em if they can’t take a joke !
Alles klar, Herr Kommissar?
BTG,
I don’t intentionally want to offend anyone, but I know it happens from time to time. Funny, but I’ve been called those things too: narrow minded, non-intelligent, judgmental ass. LOL. Oh well. Life goes on. Some people just don’t look at things the same way I do I guess.
By the way…. this post is a joke about offending people.
ma cherie!!!!!!
To whom(jonco)ever it may concern:
A JOKE?? This is only a JOKE??
Now you’re posting HUMOR on this site??? WTF’nF is up with THAT?? When did THAT crap start??
Does this mean you’re going to KEEP ON OFFENDING US??
Well that offends me!! I’ll prove it–Look at me–I’M OFFENSIVE!!
(Does this mean no more bridge pictures?? O. M. G.)
If you jump off a bridge in Paris you’re in Seine.
I really like the pink awning on the bridge, a very nice touch. Beautiful arches and columns, a fine specimen.
Thanks, I needed that laugh! Good one…
# rick:
LOL!
I’m offended!!! Can you show a man’s ass OR…. in the next one? Then I’ll settle down and be OK. I never even saw the bridge either… oh,god
Took me a while to spot the bridge as well, must be geeting slow. Anyway, don’t wish to be picky but unfortunately the picture isn’t of Pont Neuf in Paris.
Very funny though!
HMHB
That’s awesome. I’m going to take more of an interesting in these things from now on.
Actually, this is not Paris famous Pont Neuf but Toulouse Pont Neuf (an other french city). This may seem pointless, but it makes an important difference in the cultural debate that this picture is conveying. Maybe another thing to know is that the other name of Toulouse in French is “la ville rose” (the pink city) due to the buildings made out of red bricks; you sure have noticed all the pinky things on the background… 😉
Au revoir.
Yes you’re right, that is a mentally stimulating cultural sight.. nice classic form. Would look great next to my monument any day. But, I hear the ones that look like that sometimes charge a toll to be on them. Also, did anyone notice the span crossing the river in the background?
Oh that bridge!
ROFL! This is why we love this blog!! Where is Infidel?! Can he not sense a post like this from miles away?
Bella – Just watch Jonco’s Stoop ‘n’ Poop vid and you get to see all the Man’s ass you need! LOL
The funniest thing about the pic is that the person in the pink skirt is a famous French transexual.
If you jump off a bridge in Paris you’re in Seine.
HAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA
Hey Jonco, nice ass!!!
one can only say so many things about a bridge; it’s arches, it’s curves, the lines, ooh, oh, look at those lines…OMG those are nice lines, man alive are those nice lines…sorry i got carried away!
:)))))))))
Did anyone noticed that there is a chic ruining this educational picture??? Chics do all kinds of weird stuff… Too bad there weren’t chics like this in my History books when i was in school…
don’t ever change.
I counted 2 arches …. oh look an obelisk too…oh wait.
I guess it would be way too obvious to have captioned the picture: Kiss My Ass.
The bridge has a crack right down the middle.
I must have some bridge inspector in me Alan, cause that’s the only thing I saw.
DAYUM thats some nice boo-tay right there,Id love to hit it,just stay like that babe
I love it….Keep this coming….
Pont Neuf tunnel of love…lol
because of this photo, i ave decided to look at bridges once in a while

I’d like to see another bridge. Do you have any?
