My new album – “Better Than We Deserve”

Better Than We Deserve

You didn’t know I had a band, did you?

Neither did I.  Our friends over at The Presurfer have a post Your Debut Album.  Here are the rules:

1 – Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random.
The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2 – Go to Random quotations: http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3.
The last four words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album. If you want to do this again, hit refresh to generate new quotes, because clicking the quotes link again will just give you the same quotes over and over again.

3 – Go to Flickr’s ‘explore the last seven days’:
http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days/.
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover. Put it all together, that’s your debut album.

I mocked an album cover up real quick of my first album.  Too funny!  Tell us about your new album.

  1. Band: Season
    Album: Something is off-balance here
Cover: Counting left to right it’s a guy passed out with a kitten, counting top to bottom it’s a person rolled up in a haybale in the middle of a field.

  2. Band: Tokiwa Gozen
    Album: Just peanuts to space
Cover: A young woman with lips puckered

I like this idea! I’m going to try it with my year 7 students during their next computing lesson!

  3. Mine worked out almost too well.

    Band: MacGregor Baronets
    Album: It Is All Fatal
Cover: He and she skeletons having a laugh

I made a quick mock-up as well and emailed in case you get a few submissions to make a post of albums covers.

  4. My band is York, Pennsylvania and the first album is Why I Have One. Since I can’t paste in the photo – the picture looks like a dilapidated outhouse in the middle of a field!!

  5. My band: DZYB
    Album: “Be Coming Up It”
Cover: Three horses, head and shoulders shot, in a field of tall grass with a blue sky overhead.

I’m disturbed about the “Be Coming Up It” part!
