2 weeks ago the CEO of our company announced “mandatory back to office” starting (for me) in January 2027 – so… I am retiring before then… no f’n way am I driving to and from Alpharetta every day… I am not certain exactly when I’m officially retiring but it’s no later than that and if they annoy me again might just be sooner… I’ve been on the fence for months but no way am I going to take a ~$5000 pay cut (due to the higher expenses from commuting and sitting in a cubicle) AND lose ~440 hours per year from commuting…
