Just like the high-speed railroad the Californians voted for in about 2008.
$63 miles of CA railroad are being constructed right now employing 1700 workers.
More job creation in CA than Trump’s stellar record except for the increase in fact checkers and excuse makers.

I think you first sentence needs rewritten. And no track has been laid yet–maybe they will finally get around to it this year.
The CA high-speed rail was originally supposed to be done by 2020. It is now slated to be finished in what–about 10 years or so, and connect some town an hour or so north of LA and 2 hours south of San Francisco? And it is at least $100 billion over budget? And the milestone they were just promoting is they finally finished the yard that will store the material needed to build the track? I think their cheering is not warranted.
