While I think the agent was justified, I am looking forward to the official investigation and not some journalist’s thoughts.

“The agent was justified” for shooting someone in the face, rather than at the tires to disable the vehicle? Especially after her last words being “I’m not mad at you”?
We live in the worst timeline. And this site used to be fun.
Him being that close to the vehicle and fearing for getting hit makes it hard to shoot the tire rather than the driver.
And shooting the tire would flatten it. Have you ever driven a car with a flat tire and were able to drive it safely to stop it and change the tire? Pretty easy to do (but can be stressful), so shooting the tire would not have stopped the vehicle.
Aren’t these people supposed to be trained on how to resolve a situation like this without shooting someone in the face? Or are they hired just because they believe some people deserve to be shot in the face, like you seem to do?
He was defending himself from a driver of a vehicle–how much of her body was protected by the vehicle, the dash, and the steering wheel? Any of those could cause the bullet to ricochet and hurt someone else.
Typically, if you are going to shoot someone in self-defense, you go for “center mass” –the torso– as that is the biggest target. But in cases where that is protected, you go to “plan B.”
And yes, I imagine they are trained to not use lethal force if at all possible.
Plus training says don’t shoot into a moving vehicle.

Do know he shot into the side window. His first shot was when he at front side of the vehicle (her wheels were turned away from him, so self defense is a lie).

There is now quite a bit of evidence that he did not “honestly believe” his life was endangered.
For one, he used his phone to film the whole thing. At one point, he even switched the hand that was holding his phone, so he could literally capture the shooting. Moreover, instead of crying, breathing hard, or taking a second to recover from the purportedly “life threatening” encounter, the ICE agent walks away without so much as batting an eye, muttering the words “fuckin’ bitch” under his breath. Neither of these things sounds like something a person who was afraid for his life would do.
It does, however, track as something a man who is very angry that a woman challenged his authority might do. You should relate.

Also, ICE is still attacking people that record them. There is video proof, that probably saved the video takers from a beat down at the least. Waiting for them to look for excuses to shoot them too.
