  1. I find it sad that there are so many downvotes. That these people find this festering carcass of American rot shoved into an ill-fitting suit: the sleaze of a conman, the cowardice of a draft dodger, the gluttony of a parasite, the racism of a Klansman, the sexism, of a back alley creep, the ignorance of a bar stool drunk, the greed of a hedge fund ghoul—all spray painted orange and paraded like an prize hog at a county fair. Not a president. Not even a man. Just the diseased distillation of everything this country swears it isn’t but always has been–arrogance dressed up as exceptionalism, stupidity passed off as common sense, cruelty sold as toughness, greed exalted as ambition and corruption worshipped like gospel. It is America’s shadow made flesh, a rotting pumpkin idol proving that when a nation kneels before money, power, and spite, it doesn’t lose its soul—it shits out this bloated obscenity and calls it a leader they MUST support, says so little of his cult following.

  2. He just shows some of the things that are wrong with America that the ones who support him go into denial about.
    Competent people look inwardly and question themselves if they could do better. Incompetent people just ignore their own faults and blame others for their lack of the success in life that they believe they are entitled to. And so they identify with him.
    But as things get worse they might just realize that there is a problem but will still blame “those others” for not stopping him or giving them the warnings that they ignored.

    • Blaming others is his attraction. Finding “others” is key to controlling his cult. It’s called demagoguing. As you suggest, they are unwilling to see issues go deeper than just pointing to a minority. Immigrants are not “taking jobs”, businesses are hiring them because they’re cheaper and easier to exploit. Laws exist that punish businesses and CEOs, but they’re often rich and white. Government is “not working.” Politicians on one side of the aisle are working hard to make sure it fails so it can be privatized. I’m not sure in whose world where big corporations work to better benefit its customers over the profits desired for their stockholders and CEOs.

      The cult likes to say they’re the patriots who love their country, but you can’t love your country when you ignore the principles of what created our country. Those principles are limited government, separation of powers, individual rights all enforced by an independent judiciary all written in durable framework. This administration has chosen to ignore these principles and his cult is fine with that. They excuse their opposition to the Constitution as necessary, but fail to see that single element is what they hate but profess to love. If you believe you need to destroy it in order to make something better, then you in fact hate this country. You don’t destroy what you love.

    • Funny you have to resort to the basic non-thinking retort, yet have nothing to refute any of my statements. If you wish to give the appearance you may know something, such as possess the ability to think for oneself, then point what and how any of my provided statements lack veracity.
