  1. The big difference is curds. Greek yogurt takes the extra step in separating the curds, whereas American and other brands do not. It takes several gallons more milk to make a Greek tub of yogurt than some others, which is why it’s more expensive.

  2. I don’t like Greek yogurt, so I keep with the American ones. I have not tried the others, but I had some really great yogurt in France back in the late ’90s that I have not really found in the US.
