And someone please help with the green thing. Ambrosia?
Thanks, Chef!

That green thing looks like a lime Jell-O dish.
Aspic: food of the gods, if they like gelatin, assorted dairy, sauerkraut, & pickled root vegies (incl horseradish). Good on a cold night (gods are sometimes desperate)
also keeps well on the shelf. mice & cockroaches won’t touch it. A. bear broke into our pantry 3 yrs ago and stole the whole thing. he never came back.
Don’t worry, we know similar food. For example the third reminds me of “Schnitzelwecken” (breaded schnitzel in a bun), although it’s been a while since i’ve seen schnitzel the size of toilet lids.
For the second: ever tried Quiche Lorraine?
Quiche Lorraine with marinara on top?
I agree that grief over having to eat that Wiener schnitzel without at least 4 massive steins of beer beside it would outright murder the average European.

Not ambrosia – it’s a Watergate Salad from a bundt-ish mold

Pretty sure it’s a Lime Jello Salad with pineapple, cream cheese and maybe pecans, like this one: https://www.aimeemars.com/lime-jello-salad/
