Not that you’re incorrect, but there are often other factors at play.
I spent several years working in Indonesia with the family in tow. School pickups and drop offs were much simpler on a Motorcycle, two kids, one behind, with the other between myself and the fuel tank. Very normal, even though we had a car.
There is a degree of skill involved once you get past three on the one bike. Added degree of difficulty if shopping or school bags included.
Poverty sucks, but maybe there’s a lesson here for those of us in the first world…wringing our hands about climate change whilst getting around solo in a vehicle built for five or more.
BTW, even locals would have a chuckle over a well loaded bike 😄
