Suburban Auto Group in Sandy Oregon, and their trunk monkey ads December 30, 2024 by Mike Quite the successful campaign, and hilarious to boot Thanks, Chef! +120
They may know cars but are idiots about animals. Those “trunk monkeys” were chimpanzees. Chimps are apes, not monkeys. Apes do not have tails and have flatter faces. Monkeys have tails and a more pronounced snout. And yes, Curious George is an ape, not a monkey. Reply
The creator of those commercials may not know an ape from a monkey, but they know comedy. Those are hilarious. Reply
C’mon Tim, loosen up, it’s party time and the Trunk Monkey is always fun. I can think of many occasions I wish I had one. Reply

“TrunkApe” just doesn’t have the same appeal
Okay–maybe “Trunk Chimp”?
