HEY! you’ve got some BAD adverts going on around here today. twice today i’ve been browsing B&P and suddenly my browser is redirected here:
http:// scaner24 . org/?affid=318&subid=landing
(i put in a few spaces to prevent anyone clicking it – don’t click it!)
this is a drive-by download site (wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drive-by_download ) – it PRETENDS to be an official microsoft malware scan which then puts you in an infinite loop trying to convince you to download some malware.
since i’m on a mac, i couldn’t download the malware itself so i don’t know exactly what it does or how bad it is. nonetheless, this is a seriously unscrupulous business practice (akin to a doctor walking up to you unannounced, telling you that your leg is broken, offering to fix it and then his ‘fix’ is to break your otherwise perfectly healthy leg).
I don’t know if this is a bad advert in your advert network, or if your site has been hijacked. it’s even possible that it is actually an infection on my machine (though this is very unlikely, considering it targets windows users and i’m not running windows…)
good luck dealing with this!
-bit
not just you,, I had to shut down to rid myself of the scan that started when I open B&P’s the first time.
I’ve sent you an email regarding this Jonco. It’s to do with your RSS feed.
If Earth were really that close, it would be so hot we’d be bacon in the sun.
