Things went OK. Grandma LaVerne was 82 and had been like a cat with 9 lives. She’s gone through so much in the last several years (Leukemia, heart bypass, kidney failure, etc, etc, etc,) and kept coming back. Life finally got the best of her.

It seems like you’ve lost a lot of folks just recently. Here’s wishing you strength for now and better fortune for the future.

My Grandma Shirley used to work at a brewery with someone named LaVerne, she was tragically trampled at the re-union concert of Lenny and the Squig-tones. Fucking festival seating!
I have to deliver a eulogy today at the funeral for my grandkids’ great grandma.
