Berlin-based artist Hans Hemmert threw a party where guests wore shoe-extenders to make them all the same height of 2 meters (6 feet 7 inches)
.
Aside from bringing the partygoers all to a common eye level, the gathering is lent an infographic nature by the shoes: all made from blue foam, the person’s real height is read in the visual uniformity of the sole instead of at the head – like a walking bar graph.
Nice psychological touch.

Very politically correct, eh?
That looks like fun! I wonder what it felt like, especially for people who are considerable taller or shorter than usual?
Also- Jim, I think that you do not know the actual meaning of that phrase.
You could be right. I was referring to
“http://www.tnellen.com/cybereng/harrison.html” from Peace of Eight. Basically, I think that it would be fun also BUT, carried to it’s ultimate absurdity, as in Kurt Vonegut’s book, it would, in part, be political correctness to the extreme. Am I understanding this wrongly?
