Roadside break

Bike ice

Charlotte and I at a stop along Highway M in Jefferson County MO.  Ice from water runoff forming along the hillside and pretty much out of direct sun was sure pretty.  It was about 60 degrees.  I’m sure it was even prettier a week or so ago when it was colder.

  1. DAYUM thats a big bike, if I had one of those it would be on the ground at the first stop sign I got too,Ill stick with the Harley sportster,no I dont have one

  2. It has been on the ground twice. Once in your lovely state of Georgia on day two of our relationship (I didn’t get my foot down quick enough when pulling under an overpass when it started to rain). And once again in South Dakota when turning too slowly out of a parking lot. Both times it just seems to happen in slow motion. It reaches a point of no return and all you can do is just step off of it when it eases down. Getting it back up is the hard part.

  3. Dammit man! I was out too. Ever do Wild Wednesdays at Shady Jacks? Well worth the trip (especially early in the season) We should go sometimes…\

  4. Cowracer, I’ve never been to Shady Jacks. I Googled it and read about it. Sounds interesting. I don’t like to drink much when I ride but am always looking for interesting places to visit especially if they have good food…. as long as they’re not too smokey.
