Don’t forget another option – Swap the batteries with the Blu-ray remote…
They missed smacking the remote into the palm of your hand, which usually works for a couple more shots.
Gosh – I’m guilty of this (seems to be a predominately male thing), but if I can squeeze the toothpaste tube harder and get a bit more out, then why not the remote..?
Gretal, that always works for me too. Gotta dislodge those little ions to get the chemical flow going again.
Alarmguy, Sounds logical to me.
With the batteries in place, I spin them in the remote a few times with the idea that maybe the battery scraping on the contacts will scratch off any microscopic corrosion. Yep it works for me. I swear I’ve gotten a few more years out of the same batteries by doing this. Try it next time.
