  1. Yes, the government is “dependent” on him for the highways he drives on, the oversight and testing of the drugs he and his family takes: the (mostly) clean air and water that is available to him (it would of course be cleaner if Republicans didn’t fight and lie about every effort to use the law to improve our lives); our national and international security; our extraordinary system of National Parks, Forests, Wildlife Refuges and Wilderness Areas; law enforcement at the local, state and national levels, libraries (idiot of idiots Glenn Beck told the CPAC he educated himself (sic) at the library because books are “free”), fire departments, emergency and search and rescue services; etc, etc, etc All of which this smug moron takes for granted and no doubt whines childishly about when they don’t work to his satisfaction.

  2. Acorvid, have you ever thought about just stepping back, taking a deep breath, seeing a glass that is half full and saying “Hell yeah, life is good?”

  3. Acorvid, so what part of that protesters poster did you not agree with? Or did you not agree with his right to protest?

  4. I think the point is that the Federal Government, by definition, is a “dependent” of the taxpayer all the time. Presumably the protesters were more or less fine with this fact until now.

  5. When I walk out of my front door, that I’m taxed to crap on, and go to the grocery store to get food, that I’m taxed to crap on, driving my car, that I’m taxed to crap on, grab a case of beer, that I’m taxed to crap on, I’m so d@mn proud to pay taxes…because really, it is just my money. I suppose the government is dependant on me. (yup, it happens in Canada too)
