I’ve created a page for the First Ever Big Ass BBQ. You can find a link to it at the top of this page over the logo or header. In case that’s too difficult here’s a link to it: http://bitsandpieces.us/babbq/
Right now it just has the info from the post the other day.You can leave comments there if you wish.
Yaaay! Cool idea. Hope to see a lot of action on that page over the next few weeks. Maybe next year we need a traveling BABBQ for England, Australia, Ireland, Japan, etc, etc…..
Thanks for all of this Jonco.
We really need to send out some invitations…
Jonco, sent a little something your way, just to prime the pump…thanks for your work on making this happen.
Pork steaks w/ plenty of Maulls
salsista and italian bread from DiGregorio’s on the Hill
ice cold Bud fat
I hope I can make it
Wait, how do you get to the BABBQ page again?
Maybe you can hire this guy to cook for us…. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPkMUU9tUqk&feature=channel
How do you post a comment on the babbq page itself? there is a suggestion for a game of cornhole, I want ot know what the hell that is, the corn hole I know is not a friendly game. I know we are from different parts of the country and I’m sure it’s different there. Washers, good. Horseshoes, good. Cornhole, explain please.
cornhole? This ain’t Arkansas!
chick – Don’t worry, it won’t hurt. Much.

Oh, THAT cornhole. Thanks for clearing that up DJ.
Chick – Cornhole is a game that is similar to horseshoes, but played with beanie bags thrown at a piece of plywood with a hole in it.
LOL @ chick….remember, it’ll be a friendly game.
Jonco – So how did Daniel make a comment on the BABBQ page without a link?
I’m down to go, it’s just finding hotel/flights/car rental etc. that I have to look into whic I’ll need help.
Jonco, Cardinals game around that time? I could go for checkin out DeRosa for old times sake
Deb, I think on one of the first posts I said the Cardinals were out of town that weekend, but I was looking at last year’s schedule. They’re in town and playing at Busch Stadium Labor Day Weekend (Fri, Sat and Sun – Out of town on Monday). If you’re talking about Mark Derosa, he’s gone… he was picked up by the Giants in December, but if you’re talking bout manager Tony LaRusa, he’s still here.
Deborah – The Cards are playing the Reds at home that weekend.
Anyone else be down for a little baseball?
(go cubs go)
DJ, I’m so glad you cleared that up for me! I was afraid I’d need a bodyguard.
Umm, who said you won’t?…
ah well i was talking about mark derosa but I’m still down for some baseball!
Deb – I am planning on taking in a Cards game on Sunday, but I will wait ’til then to buy a ticket because of weather concerns. Nothing like having a raincheck for a game 600 miles away… and yeah, DeRosa is now with the Giants.
Richard, you might have trouble getting a ticket that day unless you want to buy from scalpers.
