This needs to happen each time to a tree (in an inhabited location). In a town in Newfoundland, CA, they carved a dead tree rather than just cut it down; ie, if it was in front of a doctors office, they carved it into a doctor carrying his bag, etc. Through out the town.
It was probably a chairy tree.
They do the same here Jim Gillen. Beautiful carvings of totem poles, bears, gnomes, flower pots or whatever you desire. Some are hand-carved while others are done by the chainsaw method. The result is the same and look absolutely fantastic. I like the chairy tree though Scott, that’s a good one.
