there where some nice ww2 rifles in his collection. i collect old military weapons guns and swords. my favorites being a saber from the civil war i bought in Gettysburg and a Hakim 8mm mouser.
My collection started with an fully automatic M-16 that I “accidently” shipped back from ‘Nam in 1970. I was trying to also ship an M-60, but it was just too big. The count is now at about 25 including a Desert Eagle that I got for Christmas last year. Ammo makes it an expensive hobby, but DAYUM, it does relieve stress…
ALN, are you a reenactor? I have several friends that were in the movie Gettysburg and are heavily involved in Civil War and WWII reenactments. (One even has a Sherman Tank).
Why do people keep sending me this video?
That guy is bald, I’m bald…so?
That incident with the shotgun does mot make me a gun nut.

infi – Been there, done that. I’m surprised that the subject did not come up when we met.
infidel and richard i want to come play with you. my kids and I go out to an old forest service gravel pit. biggest gun i have shot is a Barrett 50 cal.
ALN,
If you had fired a larger gun you would have been speaking about artillery!
Barrett is just down the road about 30 miles. I haven’t been into his store yet.
Several years ago I went to a WWII reenactment at Fort Knox. A friend of mine is a curator there(real neat toys). They had some privately owned Mustangs do an overflight. Folks have a whole lot of money in their hobbies.
Richard ,ALN sounds like we need to have a big @ss meeting on the rifle range…lets do it
