  1. Last year, in front of a heavy-equipment dealer, they had Santa on a bulldozer, and it front of that were 8 forklifts, and in front of that was a smaller forklift with a huge red beachball on it’s front.

    I never got a photo, and they didn’t do it this year.

  2. This isn’t ghetto, but for one or two years when I was a kid, we got live Christmas trees–roots and all. The roots were held in a burlap sack.

    After Christmas, we planted one of the trees in the front yard. When we planted the tree, it was about 6 feet tall; when my parents moved from that house about 10 or so years later, it was about 18 feet tall. It was kind of cool to see how it grew.

  3. Yesterday at 4:30pm I walked into a shop, saw a decorated Christmas tree, liked it, took off all the decorations and put them into a random empty box (much to the amusement of the other shoppers and the confusion of the sales lady) and paid for it all. The end.
