I’ve lost two cameras that I can recall both on airplanes. One was lost back in 1977 on a flight from Las Vegas to St. Louis. I had taken some pictures from the front row of a Mac Davis concert the night after Elvis died. Mac Davis wrote some of Elvis’s songs. Anyway, I somehow lost the camera on the airplane trip home.
The second camera I lost was also on an airplane trip to visit my aunt back in September of 2007.
You never know, but maybe the people who found the cameras didn’t know who to return them to. Of course they could have turned them in to the airline, but they didn’t. For the sake of this post I’m going to assume they just didn’t think of doing that – not that they were just crooks and wanted to take advantage of an unlucky traveler.
Anyway, This guy came up with a pretty clever way of “helping” someone who finds a camera, return it to it’s rightful owner. He posted a series of funny pictures with instructions to the finder on how to get hold of him in the event they would like to be a good samaritan and return his camera. He leaves the series of pictures on his camera.
