OMG so true, they tax everthing out here. One city passed a tax on texting on cell phones…wonder if its by letter, word,or message.
This is the sign that was replaced.
It’s ludicrous! We moved to Cali recently, and I just got a job only to find out I’ll be paying an extra 10% of my wages for the rest of the year so the state can spend it blithely… BAH! HUMBUG!
Wow! That’s a great idea! You know, with modern eye-tracking technology, that WOULD be possible. Naturally we’d need biometric data on every individual, but if the eye-tracker ever DID lock onto someone not in the database, a ‘blank’ if you will, it could sound the alarm and the nearest security unit could sweep in and arrest them for being unregistered! All the people who could be confirmed to look at the sign could be taxed. After all, if you didn’t want to be charged, you’d keep your eyes on the ground where they belong! Great idea!
