We had an Irish Wolf Hound x Great Dane and he used to pretend he was the floor. Unfortunately he was the same colour as the floorboards but longer than a door space, so in the morning, as you rushed about getting ready it was not uncommon for me to fall over him as he lay across the door way at the end of the hall!
