That must be one of them new John Deere computers..
DUUUUUDE!!! It actually exists, no joke. It is the XO-1 aka children’s PC. It is the ballinest computer EVER MADE (Except maybe those crays that allowed Jurassic PArk to become reality. Oh wait, they were fictional.) It can indeed be pedal powered. It can also be hand cranked. Those little antenna provide 1 km wifi range, and the wifi signal gets bounced to other XO-1 computers, so the whole little network can run from a hub somewhere. It is sturdy and green and its screen gets incredible resoultion in black and white or decent res in color; sunlight actually helps the black and white mode, too. It is seriously the most awesome computer ever built.
Although, why our laptops don’t have these awesome capabiities (the XO-1 is primarily distributed to third world countries, not the people that know enough to really want it) can only be attributed to a corporation conspiracy
OLPC. You know, all kid’s laptops should be like this, so they at least get some exercise while on the Internet.
After being in the Army, it took me years before I would wear anything green (not dissing the Army, just got tired of green). I am starting to get really pissed at green again.
