This is a Black argiope spider I found near my house. It is great because it eats the annoying insects that fly around my property! In this clip, you can see a wasp that has fallen victim to the spider’s web, and the spider is saving the left overs for later!
I always try to leave spiders alone, except when I encounter a Black Widow. Then it’s on!
Hey Jonco I have one of those in my garden
we call the writing spiders because of the way they make the web
Jonco, are you becoming some sort of internet meme??
I was looking at Knutz.net when I came across ” rel=”nofollow”>this.
Badly implemented anti-leeching script has rendered my post useless.
Grrr, script kiddy cock-ends.
Maffu,
How so? What do you mean? (The link went to an error page)
I’m sooooooooo glad i only have small, non-poisonous spiders where i live.
Jonco Let’s try again.
Follow this link then look at the fourteenth pic from the top….
PS the cussing was referring to their site, not yours :0)
That was cussing? I thought you were describing a British meal! 🙂 🙂 !!!
Lol @ DJ
Dayum, Maffu. I went to your link, but is there anything after the 5th picture? I’m stuck right there.

I want a few hundreds of those spiders, and teach them how to roll buds ^_^
