Learn a new language to stay young

LanguageBeing fluent in two languages, particularly from childhood, enhances cognitive skills and might also protect against the onset of dementia and other age-related cognitive decline. 

One reason for this could be that speaking a second language builds more connections between neurons.

Studies show bilingual adults have denser grey matter, especially in the part of the brain where language and communication skills are controlled.

The increased density was most pronounced in people who learned a second language before the age of five.

BTW we sent all the skinheads to Illinois and PA after they threatened a mail carrier they had to leave or face jail time there property was ceased and turned into a malty cultural center. besides there was only a few arians that lived here full time and there compound was 2 old trailers a converted barn and a tree house that the news called a lookout tower. all they had was fear on there side when the news quit spinning there stories and got to the truth people quit fearing them and ran them out of town.

    “Excusez-moi, parlez vous Fracais?” he tries. The two continue to stare.
    “Parlare Italiano?” No response.
    “Hablan ustedes Espanol?” Still nothing.
    The Swiss guy drives off, extremely disgusted.
    The first American turns to the second and says, “Y’know, maybe we should learn a foreign language.”
    “Why?” says the other. “That guy knew four languages, and it didn’t do him any good.”
