Kris,
You remember well. Yes, He had his car broken into and his bucket seats stolen while at work one night. Luckily he had his bowling ball in the trunk and he had to drive home sitting on his bowling ball.
Geez, great idea until he had to turn, stop, or go! I had yo bro and this picture both beat…I used one of those old green webbed folding lawn chairs. The 5-gallon bucket wasn’t working out.
Ok, I gotta tell this story. I was about 8, the family travels in a lime green and pink Rambler to Saskatchewan for a vacation to visit Mom’s relatives. We are at a Donkey Baseball game (really) and my 14 year old cousin shoves a lit ciggy down the seat coz she thought she was caught by an adult. The next morning, my Dad gets up and wonders why the windows are all smokey? He goes over, opens the door and the Rambler busts into fire. It had smoldered all night and as soon as it got oxygen, POOF. Anyways, we came back to B.C. sitting on the green webbed lawn chairs as the seats fully burst into fire, but the Rambler still ran. Wish I had pictures. LOL
oh look its a picture of my old ford.
no seatbelt
Ahh…memories…
Those Audis are fine looking automobiles and well designed…
That reminds me– didn’t your brother have to use a bowling ball bag as a seat one time, since his seat was stolen?

A lawn chair? Shoot… you were in the lap of luxury.
