  1. In the mid- 60’s in England (poss the UK), they tried to change the way kids learned reading. They introduced the ITA, the Initial Teaching Alphabet which would spell words like school as skool and probably daughter as dauter. I was about 8 at the time and found it horrifying even then.

    I believe that stuff like the ITA just raised us a generation of F wits followed by another that just txt, so it dont matta…
