McRib sightings

Apparently they can be found if you look hard enough and in the right places.

Mcrib

The McRib in all is majesty is even more alluring because Ronald’s cruel, red fist refuses to let it become a regular staple of the McDonald’s menu. Like the forbidden fruit (if the fruit were made of Porkicorn), the McRib is everything we want form the perfect American sandwhich, yet we cannot taste its sweetness.

  1. Sometime in 2002 or so, my sister-in-law had a friend who was the manager at a McDonald’s. They were about to throw out all the McRibs and we got a box of them for free. I swear by all that is holy, that if I never see a McRib again, it won’t be soon enough. McRibs on the stove. McRibs on the grill. McRibs with just about anything you can imagine. You may think it’s funny, but it’s not. ; )

  2. I have tried the McRib before when it has been bought back for retesting. I think it is awful, just pressed and formed pork meat of questionable parts of a pig. Might as well eat the pressed and reformed McChicken. They are probably from the same source.

  3. I don’t see why everyone gets worked up about. It’s McDonalds! It’s some of the worst food ever! I am NOT lovin’ it!

  4. OMG… you don’t have the Rip?
In Germany it is a normal Burger, available at nearly every McDonalds.
I think its another reason to visit Germany. 😀

  5. You used to be able to buy a McLobster at home in Nova Scoita. I am unsure if they had the same sandwich in the U.S.. It was okay, for lobster to go.

  6. my sister was induced last year and when you go in to have your baby you can’t eat anything. well she was in labor for 17 hours and all she wanted was a mcrib. as soon as she had her baby she sent me out for a mcrib. i love them always have and i can’t wait for them to make it to Baton Rouge this McRib season. its like panchos so bad yet so good. lol

  7. I love the mcribs! It is by far the best thing McDonald’s have. I wait all year for this! I was so excited when I woke up today. It was the first day Mcribs are back for Lake Charles, LA! I will have one for dinner too! YAY!
