I became confused when I heard the word “Service” used with these agencies:
Internal Revenue ‘Service’
U.S. Postal ‘Service’
Telephone ‘Service’
Cable TV ‘Service’
Civil ‘Service’
State, City, County & Public ‘Service’
Customer ‘Service’
This is not what I thought ‘Service’ meant.
But today, I overheard two farmers talking, and one of them said he had hired a bull to ‘Service’ a few cows.
BAM!!! It all came into focus. Now I understand what all those agencies are doing to us.
You are now as enlightened as I am.
Thanks Gary
That’s F’d up…….and not funny.
Public Servants listen and respond to public complains.
Ever try Customer Service at a retail store that is cutting back on personnel?
Jim – yeah, we have–notice that the last item on the list covers retail.
And it is funny in a sad way–like the cable TV “service”: I had to order and install a digital to analog converter because my cable company has decided not to broadcast in analog anymore, yet I do not have an alternative cable company I can go to. What kind of service is this?
the gov’t “services” the people the same way the bull services the cows… AGREED!
Now all that is left is to wait for the results… LOL
behold the american tax payer!
My avatar picture was probably taken at the driver’s license office…
