Gus gets a bath

I tried bathing him in the shower the first time, but tonight Gus got a bath in the kitchen sink.  That seemed to work better.

Gus gets a bath

He’s such a good dog.  He was very patient and easy to deal with.   Not that he didn’t try to get out a time or two before he was done.

  1. His antlers are a little top heavy for such a small dog… and one leaks. I’m gonna have to take him to the shop and have him looked at.

  2. I dont think so Ana,that is a good thing about having a small dog rather than going outside with the garden hose

  3. What happened to all the suggestors that commented (and commentors that suggested) you should let him sleep with you? Under the same logic, wouldn’t you just take him into the tub with you? (WARNING to Children and Rednecks – Do Not try that with a cat!)
Ana, for the laundry sink/deep sink, a lot of older homes (mid-70’s and back) have them in basements, but I haven’t seen them as often in newer homes.

  4. Never can tell what a dog will like. One of the many things that makes them so interesting and great.

Dogs are a lot like women that way, only dogs forget mistakes.

Then there are cats, and the people like them.

  5. I’m glad Gus found a home with calm and patient adults. He looks ok with you, and he seems to trust you. Don’t know if he would’ve been happy with a houseful of kids or other dogs.

  6. I give my little dog baths in the kitchen sink too. She doesn’t get overwhelmed by too much water, and I don’t have to bend over the bathtub. It’s a win-win! I love the name you chose for your new buddy. It suits him, I think.
