The old saying: “Beauty is but fleeting, stupid is forever”, comes to mind.
It’s something young pretty girls should pay attention to. Bardot isn’t/wasn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer either.
BB wasn’t a woman. She was an idea, a physical projection of what men dream. Ideas don’t age.
The expression “Rode hard and hung up wet” comes to mind.
I feel the same as Mike Firesmith. I never had any looks to lose!! (My Avatar is an old photo– I must’ve been in my twenties)
at least she allowed herself to age naturally, without plastic surgery, as some of the folks in the entertainment industry do, with the mistaken idea that they can somehow hold on to their youth and their looks. Joan Rivers anyone? Not that she was ever a great beauty to begin with, but please someone stop her!
