  1. Mike – I’ve had the opposite problem. All of my neighbors and I have tomatoes out the ying-yang. I threw away six of them today.

  2. GARY – RICHARD — Aren’t you guys in Atlanta? I may be enjoying a cold one with Infidel and Mike F one Sat night in mid/late September on my way to Mom J’s in Florida. If you’re interested in partying in a small-ass-beer-b-q at Infi’s favorite watering hole, Jonco can give you my email address.

P in B I’ll be on north end of Martin County…Love to meet you. Glasnost? Halfway, in neutral territory around WBP maybe? A G-2 summit meeting with pics? See above.

  3. I have a lot of tomatoes this year too. In a greenhouse but enough to make a lotta Salsa. Green peppers are good too. I won’t tell you about the not-so-good.

  4. Battlestar Galactica…

Basically I just want to say yes both are great, I like the newer one better only because I am just shy of thirty and could catch it every week it was on. The original was pretty awesome also. They have plans to make a movie based on the original.

    So… Go Battlestar!

  5. It was only 102 today. Cubs lost, damn you cubs.

Also, did anyone else here about DJ AM dying over the weekend of an overdose? Pretty sad since he survived that horrible plane crash last year.

  6. DJ – Don’t forget that it is football season now in the South. Depending on the schedule, it might be tough finding an uncrowded bar and the right time for the four of us.

  7. Cooool, Richard!! I’ll come up with a date as soon as possible. It’ll likely be a Sat evening after 6-7pm. I have to leave here on a Sat morn & I have a 12 hour drive to get there. My 19-year old son AJ will be with me…infidel is his idol and he wants to learn as much as he can from him ASAP.

    Bella…everyone is sad you can’t be there…

  8. DJ,
If you’re talking about Stuart, FL, that’s only an hour north of where I live. We don’t need to meet half way, if you’re coming down here from King Kucinich’s district, I will gladly make the 60 minute drive to where you are. My only concern is the earlier I know the date, the easier it is to arrange my work schedule.
    Tag, you’re it.

  9. http://videocafe.crooksandliars.com/cspanjunkie/why-i-hate-barack-obama-pastor-steven

Why are pastors, who are supposed to preach the word of Jesus, of peace and compassion, hating so much?

And why are those people that during G.W.’s presidency said “He’s our president and you have to respect him even if you don’t agree with him” the ones that profess all these things against Obama?

I’m Portuguese and not necessarily a Barack Obama fan but I am a social democrat (read on it) and I really don’t understand all the hypocrisy around this issue.

  10. Well, Reader, one thing you have to remember is there are nuts of every party and persuation. I cannot condone ‘wishing someone would die’ nor do I think anyone that “meets” on this site does. We will say we don’t like someone’s policies and will heartily voice our support or opposition, but that’s the key. We are free to voice our opposition or support the same way we always have whether it’s the last 8 days, 8 years, or 200+ years. I frequently disagree with many here and know they do me as well although for the life of me, I don’t understand how they could disagree with me…. 🙂
(And no, even though my handle might imply it, I’m not a pastor.)
