Heading to Florida

Florida

We’re off to Florida for a few days.  It looks like Ana has fizzled out and is just now a rain storm about to hit Florida.

Hurricane Bill, however, is building strength.  It has sustained winds of 135 mph which makes it a category 3 hurricane.  Further strengthening is expected and the system could become a major hurricane (category 4 or higher) soon.  Right now it is expected to turn right and head up the eastern coast of the U.S.

So other than some rain our trip to Florida should be non-eventful.  I should be able to post while there.

  1. Have fun, stay dry, and watch for falling debris

Hurricanes can be an exciting experience, but I still hope you don’t have to mess with it all!

    • My daughter is watching the dog…and apparently he’s not behaving too well for her. She says we’re even for me watching her dying dog a couple weeks ago.
