Did the cop say that she was at a 30-40 degree angle? If so, I could see the brakes working well. At the Chicago Auto Show the last few years, Dodge/Jeep have had indoor tracks to show off their 4WD capabilities; with the Jeeps, you climb a 30 degree incline, then stop on the way down on a 40/45 degree angle. It is a trippy experience, but the Jeep handled great.
Not only good brakes, but good tires as well. If that car would have been a little heavier, the outcome may have been different.
Maybe it’s the angle of the picture, but it has to bemore than 30 degrees. It definitely looks steeper that 45.
