American filmwriter, director and produce John Hughes died suddenly yesterday at the age of 59. He had a big part in these films: National Lampoon’s Vacation; Ferris Bueller’s Day Off; Weird Science; The Breakfast Club; Some Kind of Wonderful; Sixteen Candles; Pretty in Pink; Planes, Trains and Automobiles; Uncle Buck; Home Alone among others.
Here is a montage of some of his work to music from The Who.
I don’t think this guy ever wrote a movie I didn’t enjoy. He has two in my All Time Top 10. Cool video btw.
My Condolences to his family, I loved some of his movies especially the breakfast club, Home Alone and Home Alone 2. Definitely his movies defined a generation as well as gave us plenty of chuckles. For all his fans I have collected some good sites and articles (more than 250 sites ) related to his latest news coverage, biography, Movies, Movie Quotes and Interviews. Even the simplest scenes in his movies were a work of art. He didn’t waste a frame of film.
Ferris Bueller was one of my favorite movies
I hate to sit still and watch any entire movie, but I’ve seen everyone of his movies at least twice. If I had to pick one, I guess it would be Ferris Bueller or The Breakfast Club.
