“Driving the porcelain bus” as we used to say. She seems to be doing a pretty good job, but her ticket-taker is lying down on the job.
I used to work for a guy who was a Ceramics Engineer. He told me the difference between a ceramist and a ceramics engineer: A ceramist specializes in dinner ware; a ceramics engineer specializes in “after-dinner ware.” Too true!
I can remember talking to “Ralph” about his “Buick” too many times back in college.
And that awful spinning if I closed my eyes. But what the heck, throw up, pass out, wake up and start all over again…

I used to think people were saying their prayers down the phone. They always seemed to be saying “Oh God, oh God, never again God”.

I’ve said that prayer, just not lately thank God. With age comes wisdom.
