hmm, i guess i don’t see the humor in a careless driver killing a cyclist riding where they are supposed to be.
was that somebody from the alcohol olympics
This reminds me of the pic of the pile of poop that a road crew had painted over.
Walter, Do you think just maybe somebody was making a turn when their car died? And the painter was just trying to show a little sense of humor? And who was killed? Do you see a dead body in that picture? Maybe I missed it.
I suppose you’ve never driven across a crosswalk either. Geez! Apparently you’re not familiar with that phrase: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sense_of_humor
To Walter’s credit, the bumper is broken slightly and the windshield is smashed on the passenger side.
If someone was hit and killed there, I’ll take this down. I didn’t notice the windshield and there do appear to be skid marks behind the rear tire. The paint could have been Photoshopped in. Of course the skid marks could have been too.
Why aren’t there any police or tow truck drivers or anyone in the picture?
And shouldn’t the biker be cautious at an intersection?
If anyone can link to a story about this as an accident let me know.
I just assumed it was an art thing. I don’t get why it is art but this sort of thing seems to be now days.
I’m with Mali…I figured it was either art or shooped.
Most bicyclists these days are three-dimensional, rather than two-dimensional like the one sprawled on the hood of the car.
Ok, I dont how I figured this out so fast other then experience but this is in NYC. I did a little checking and found the address on google maps

Anyhow the one way street sign direction has been changed in this photo, so shopping seems to be a possibility.
Good work Isiah! I’m impressed. I searched for Astor Hotel, but couldn’t find anything, so I gave up. Yo da man!
