There was a small village nearby where I grew up, this old lady would call the police every week telling them that people were coming out of the walls to get her. The police after a few years of this figured out that all they had to do was get the lady to hold the phone up by the walls and yell at the “people”. Only small-town cops can get away with that stuff.
