MUM-to-be Caroline Barnes shows that her unborn baby could be a real wild child — by making a V-sign in the womb.
The ultrasound image, recorded at 23 weeks, reveals the youngster firmly sticking two fingers up.
TV location manager Caroline, 35, of Dulwich, South East London, said: “The nurse couldn’t stop laughing. The baby stayed like it for the whole session.”
Caroline’s fiancé Dave Wright, 36, said: “We don’t mind what sex the baby is, but we’ll have to teach it some manners.”
One of my twins punched the ultersound device, I doubt that counts.
All fun and games, except that’s not ‘peace’ in the country where it was actually developed. That’s british for the finger. That’s why they’ve got to teach the kid some manners.

I’ve always known that as a peace sign. Made famous in the US in the 60’s.

The peace sign is the inside of the fingers facing out. The ‘up yours’ sign is the back of the fingers facing out.

The gesture dates back to when we were at war with the French. They threatened to cut off the two forefingers of our archers (used to draw the bowstring). The gesture (as bitscared said, with the backs of the fingers facing the person to whom you’re making the gesture) was a taunt to show that they had failed to do so. So, it’s something not particularly relevant outside the UK but kind of cool because it originally combined bravado in the face of danger and childish glee at taunting our enemies in one hand motion. Not surprising, really, that our closest genetic relatives fling poo out of trees.

My Sons ultrasound is exactly the same. His was taken back in 1994. I call it a peace sign. I called my unborn Son at the time “The peace Baby”. Boy was I wrong! LOL Hes cause Hell ever since he was born!
