The dancing inmates of Cebu prison in the Philippines present a choreographed tribute to Michael Jackson yesterday. 1,500 inmates participated. The best is the middle part, where you’ll see dancing nuns and prisoners doing the Thriller dance to “I’ll Be There”.

That has one of the strangest videos ever. Oh, and I don’t think those females were nuns. Since they are wearing orange jump suits and cheap sneakers, I suspect that they are inmates as well.

Some news magazine show (like Dateline) did a segment on this prison not too long ago after the thriller video came out. Apparently, they’ve found that doing these things are better for the prisoners than just letting them sit idle in jail cells. Gives them some sort of sense of accomplishment while giving them something to do.
michael jackson is a very very talented person to the point that he rose as a pop icon. he would live forever in our history books and memories.
