  1. CA Kris, you are missing alot. When you fly me down there to fix your snake in the box problem, I will bring a sack of ’em.

  2. Oh yeah! Double cheese sliders with the dark mustard. Great fries and onion rings. About 40 cents each for the singles…mmmmmm.

  3. Saw something like that at a Krytal burger place in Pensacola, FL (Krystal is the southern version of White Castle). It was weird… 10 brides and grooms, all dressed up just standing around. Didn’t realize it was a fad.

  4. Bella,
No. In & Out Burgers is a chain in California and Arizona. I’m not sure if they are in any other states here. All they do is burgers, fries, and drinks (nothing alcoholic, darn it!). By far, IMHO, the very best of fast food burgers. If you ever make it to the States, you need to order a “double double animal style”. Nirvana on a bun.

  5. Paul in Boca, homina homina. The In and Out pulled my trigger. Please describe the above. I am thinking it is quite messy and served HOT?

  7. KLAW, they are better than I describe. Messy, juicy, and extremely flavorful. They will accommodate any number of burger and cheese combinations: you can order triple/triple, even 10 burgers and 10 slices of cheese all in one bun if you desire. Sorry Deborah, but I disagree about the fries. What I find odd is that even though their fries are cut in store from fresh potatoes, they don’t taste as good as I would hope. And I’m glad they’re only on the west coast, if they were in my neighborhood I’d probably be there once a day. In & Out is a family owned business, and they have no desire to franchise their stores. Finally KLAW, I don’t know if you saw my post to you a while back, but thanks for the Radio Paradise link, that station has been my primary source of music ever since.
Which is proof that libs and conservatives CAN find common ground!

  8. Paul in Boca, Radio Paradise is on in my house 24/7. Thank you for the excellent description. Deborah, I would be a mess reading those Bible scriptures UNDER the cup. Please pass the napkins.

  9. Thanks for that Paul in Boca. I would bet that they put that powder whitening stuff in the potatoes like here therefore changing the taste of the fries. The burgers sound yummers though.

  10. Actually Bella, they are known for being fresh and try to hold true to that old style fast food experience all the way down to the uniforms the employees wear. You can see the entire kitchen, plus, if you go through drive-thru (which they ask “Will you be eating this in your car?”, and proceed to give you a placemat for your lap) the entire drive-thru wall is windows, so you can see the people in the kitchen preparing the food. The fries are made from whole potatoes, placed in some can-crusher device that makes them into thin fries, then dropped them into the oil. All the ingredients are fresh, the lettuce is green and the tomatoes are actually red!

  11. LMAO! nice choice of words there..

Would have been funny seeing those go through the x-ray. I got pulled aside in Jersey for having a book and headphones in my bag. Lady said it looked like a bomb in my bag.
