Whoo Hoo scenes from home….did not expect this today…I think it is a new spin on the mogul event…economic development scheme….sporting tourism….right up there with lobster fighting….
Deer stamp down the snow like this in preparation for an easy escape when they are being preyed upon. It’s much easier to run on compacted snow than it is in billowy snow. They do this as a group with the same common goal of not getting eaten.
Well, Tattoo, not unless you could put some U shaped english on it… Maybe hold one of those that shoots around corners sideways. But you’re right, a Barrett .50 would do some damage.
These are some amazing shots. I am sure glad a hunter didn’t come along.
I see Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen, but where’s Rudolph?
They’ve come to eat my tulips. Vermin!
Obviously these animals are being fed. Why else would they crowd the trail?
Where’s a pack of hungry wolves when you need them?

Correction: Upon reviewing the original source, it is a snowmobile trail, not a ski trail. I don’t know where that ski trail thingy came from.
Great pics, I was a hunter. Now I shoot ’em with a camera. That herd needs to be thinned.
Lined up like that… if a man just happened to have a .50 cal. Barrett, why one shot could clean then all out!!!
