  1. Crap, BI-LO ain’t very low, just bought baby backs for $3.99 a lb. This is the bar-b-que capital of the world.

  2. Publix bought out the Bi-Lo’s here in the Nashville area I think. And I had a thick pork steak for supper last night (my contribution to thwarting the pandemic…cook them all)

  3. Awww crap. I thought Bella had made the comment about BBQ. Not an excuse, but I see the comments differently than you do. The names are with them, but they’re just in a big list. Bella’s comment (on another post) was right next to this one and I got them mixed up. I’m sure it had nothing to do with the six beers I had at the horse races last night before I got home.

And I don’t recall any Bi-Lo’s in the St. Louis area. I don’t think they ever made it here.

  4. Infidel – I think all of the Bi-lo stores went away, back to Carolina. First the Winn-Dixie’s, then Bruno’s, now Bi-Lo. If Ingle’s pulls out, I’m moving to North Carolina. Can’t stand Kroger or Publix. Maybe I’ll still use Wal-mart, once in awhile.

  5. It’s OK Jonco, I had 6 beers last night after I bbq’d my pork steaks too.
We have a lot of pigs up here that aren’t pink, do you want me to send you a few??

    • Yeah, but do you really have pork steaks up there like we do down here. From what I understand it’s just a midwest kind of thing. People in other places don’t know what a pork steak is.

  6. DJ, me bad!! I meant the 2 legged. Only parts of them are pink.
And I’m betting that you’re right Jonco as our pork steaks are nothing to brag about.
And how are you feeling? It’s been a couple of days since your last update.
