Back home

We made it back home this evening.  I had some tall grass to mow before I did anything else.  I should have mowed it before I left, but I just didn’t get around to it.

Anyway, I want to thank all who had nice comments and sympathies for me and my aching neck.  Also, those who suggested treatments, ideas and shared your experiences with similar ailments.  I’m feeling a little better today.  I haven’t had any pain pills today and only two yesterday.  I’m hopefully optimistic that the relief will continue.  I guess I’d say I’m just now occasionally uncomfortable rather that miserable… which is pretty much how I spent much of the last month or so.

I did go to physical therapy Friday and did do some stretching exercises which I said I wasn’t going to do…and I think it may have started helping.  I’m starting to feel like I can get more into it now.  I have three PT sessions scheduled for this coming week, so time will tell.

Thanks for all your participation in the open mics too.  They were fun to read.  Hopefully things will be back to normal here this week… even though I do have a full week ahead of me.  I’m producing a Trivia Night on May 2nd, for the MPS Society locally in St. Louis area.  I don’t know too much about the disease but was asked to do it by a nice young couple whose two children have it.

Anyway, look for things to be sort of back to normal.

  1. Back to normal? There’s nothing ( and nobody ) normal here – and I hope it stays that way.

Glad to hear you’re better, I had a similar problem about 15 years back, so know how you feel.
