Kids with cancer are writing their names on pieces of paper and sticking them to the windows of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Steel workers are then spray-painting those names on the steel beams of the new 14-story Yawkey Center for Cancer Care being built next door.

This is a lovely story.
Of topic, where is Bella? She last commented on the open mike thing, when she was in charge. What have you all done with her? BEELLLLAAAA?!
Bits,I spotted her and DJ sneaking out the back door,
Bella was wearing nothing but an earring and DJ just a smile.
Those two! I should have known!
stuff like this really shacks your faith in god.
I’m not much of a sentimentalist for stuff like that…but that’s incredibly cool. Good for them. (I’m talking about the construction workers, not DJ and Bella…)
Can’t comment
very busy
I’m here, sorry but was bedridden for a couple of days…. that
DJ, everytime he sneaks over the border, well you know.
Now for the comment on this post: Those construction workers
have a heart of gold and the kids are probably thrilled to see
their names up there. Kudos for a feel good project.
Oh, oh…. here comes DJ again.
Bed ridden. Sure, tell everybody.
I’m bringin penicillin this time…
Oh, Deej, it’s just coz you da man. You know…. a manly man!!
**Sigh**
Fuk god.
If there is a god then it was what let the kids get sick to begin with.
This makes me want to have faith in people again.
This is one of the few real incridbley good stories out right now. Give credit where it is due.
Or God’s plan doesn’t really have much to do with if people get sicknesses based on age alone. Also a possibility.
Also, you spell “fuck” with a “c.” If you’re going to say it about him, man-up and say it right.
Derek, I’m sure he was just trying to get around the filtering software which holds or kills comments with the F word in them.
That’s a riveting story.
OOH! Derek knows god’s plans but doesn’t know about the fuk filter.
How weird is that?
Actually, those are IRON workers, the carnies of construction. A small correction, but a big difference. A great indication, tho, of the heart of the blue-collar.
Good point, John.
That’s great! My Dad’s been in and out of Dana Farber for the past few years. It’s really a spectacular facility. I hope those kids get a little excitement seeing their names on the new building!
