  1. Wow, that one is amazing.

The one where another driver pulls in for her is hilarious. How embarrassing.

    Loved that very last one.

  2. My favourite is the Skoda on its roof at the garden gates – she’s upside ruddy down and the first thing the woman passes out is her handbag (and it’s the size of a blokes “going away for the weekend” bag). Priceless.

A couple of years ago my car was backed into by a … “lady” in a dimly lit multi-storey car park. I couldn’t reverse because of cars behind me. As she came closer and closer and closer I gave her subtle hints like full beam headlights flashing, hand on the horn. People walking by gave her subtle hints like yelling, waving and throwing small dogs at her windscreen. Still she came. Back, back, back – crunch, tinkle, smash. She was genuinely surprised when she hit my car. When I asked if she hadn’t noticed the full beam headlights, the horn, the people waving and yelling, the small dogs splattering she just stayed silent.

Reason she was reversing? She’d missed the up-ramp and had been headed down the “no-entry” ramp from the lower floor. Any bloke would have just driven on past both and circled the floor but no, not a … “lady”.

Still, I can’t talk. I jumped into my car once at a car-share friend’s house, looked over my shoulder to reverse out, floored it and drove straight into his house … oops.

Actually, my best ever was where I lost it and got the car all sideways but it straightened itself up at 90% to the traffic right opposite a car park entrance. So, naturally, being a bloke I just carried on into the car park, parked and walked away as though I’d deliberately driven that way and was just showing off. Pride huh?

  3. Ian, every man here knows exactly what you’re talking about.

Ladies – notice he included one fault of the fairer sex and two of his own.

  4. I could feel my ire rising on the one with the woman trying to get into that parking space. How could anyone so spatially challenged possibly be given a license to pilot a one-tonne, high-speed projectile on the public highways?
Also, if you look, that particular clip is at double speed, so you can imagine how frustrated the bloke in the other car must have been.

  5. I almost had to stop watching and go and have a sex change with that chick trying to reverse park! How embarrassing!

  6. Ian, I relate as well. Damage to my car was very little, but I still was upset because she did not heed all the warnings. That was all fine, as she was an old lady, and I decided to just leave it. Until a bystander told me to calm down…

Excellent find, Jonco. I have never seen such a good collection. My wife was incredulous as well.

  7. I guess one good thing about living in Oklahoma is that there’s not much here to bump into. We have 2 dent-free vehicles. Of course, I’m the only driver in our household.
